AD Modular Join the Title Sponsors at GP Originals

AD Modular in partnership with GP Originals
Andy Gilligan, Managing Director at AD Modular is an avid motorcycle enthusiast with close links to motocross. His love of all things two-wheeled brought GP Originals to his attention and a generous sponsorship package was offered.
At our Donington round in 2019 young Seamus Gilligan took part in the Teng Tools colouring competition for the under 12s. Just like the on-track action, it was a  fiercely contested creative battle. He was delighted to climb onto the top step of the
Thundersport GB podium and collect a bag full of wicked Teng Tools prizes.

2020 – a season on hold
AD Modular generously donated for the 2020 season and became the 250cc title sponsor. The 250s have been enjoying a explosive resurgence at GP Originals with 15 of the smaller machines eagerly entering the first round at Oulton Park. Sadly, just before the season could get started Covid-19 struck on a global scale putting all racing out of action. The virus caused GP Originals to take the decision to postpone all Championships until 2021 to allow riders and teams the chance to stay
healthy and be ready for a for full season. Entries for the first two rounds had already opened and the Series was delighted to see grid spots reaching full capacity within days of opening – the season was promising to be the biggest yet.

Looking ahead
In line with all the current sponsors, AD Modular is continuing their support into 2021. This loyalty and support ensures GP Originals’ place at the forefront of post classic two-stroke racing.
