Permanent Classroom Solution

The school were let down and left to cope with half a building when one of the ad Modular’s competitors went into administration halfway through the completion process.  ad Modular were asked to assist by the Council as we had provided them with modular accommodation at Malden Parochial School, which gave the school a great recommendation. ad Modular went in and rectified the works that had been carried out to a poor standard and then finished the remainder of the works for the School during the summer vacation period. Both the school and the Council were extremely happy with the work carried out.

The building was in need of some special requirements including a wheelchair ramp and shutter windows for security protection. This made the school more accessible to all and helped improve the reputation overall and helped provide disabled access in the school.

Assessment Ward

Southampton General Hospital was a project which was assigned to our crew by Kier Construction to design and install a 8no. bay modular, to be used as an assessment ward for the Southampton hospital which must meet all Building Regulations. The modular was to be placed within a tight courtyard within the hospital walls itself. This required our skilled team of builders to lift the modular over the existing buildings with a large crane and into the tight courtyard. Both Kier and Southampton General Hospital were thrilled with the final design and we are liaising with them as to a possible Accident & Emergency Building to be installed in 2015.

Our team design many buildings to measure and helped Southampton General hospital to measure precisely to fit perfectly into their courtyard so it could be used as a outdoor consultation building. Providing a large area for seating and consultation rooms, including a reception area to keep paperwork.

Our team of builders and design team will provide the very best service to make the building suitable for your requirements and tailored to accommodate special requirements.

Modular School Accommodation Sale

When AD Modular were approached by Tuffin Ferraby Taylor and asked to supply a full turnkey package for a double classroom and changing room accommodation for Malden Parochial school in Kingston Upon Thames, we were advised that the project had to be completed within four weeks from design, manufacture and installation. This was due to another modular building company letting the school down at the last minute. The buildings were delivered and installed on pre-prepared groundworks in just a single day.

AD Modular stepped in and turned the project around working closely with the customer to ensure the building was delivered on time and to specification.

This project was handed over early October 2012, on time and budget.

What the client had to say:-

‘’In the circumstances of an existing contract to procure modular buildings falling through, AD Modular did a fantastic job of entering the project at a late stage in the programme, assisted in aiding the design and procured and erected two modular buildings ready for the school Autumn Term in September 2012. This was a superb effort given they were instructed at the beginning of August. The site operatives were extremely competent on site and communicative with members of the project team and the school . The end product was completed to an excellent standard with overall customer satisfaction very high.’’

During your works to install the building from the very beginning I have felt your attention to the required standards that we as a company set out has been of the highest quality. Your method statements and risk assessments were very good and the only amendments required were to ensure it fell in line with our procedures. In relation to the onsite works all operatives have understood the importance of the induction  process and the site rules laid out therein. Wherever an issue has been raised your site  management team has been very quick to react, rectify the situation and implement  measures to ensure there are no further such occurrences no matter how minor.
